Sound Designer

Kit has nearly 50 years of Sound Design in the film and video industry. And as a Sound Designer, he has experience in both the short and feature production. He also has a wide knowledge of all areas of production and multimedia work.

Commercials - 35mm film, 16mm film, Beta SP and Beta Digital. Commercials for - Dairy Board.

Documentaries - Film and Video documentary titles include - This is New Zealand, Rimutaka Incline, On Denniston, Rails in the Wilderness, Selwyn Toogood's New Zealand, North Island Main Trunk, Total Steam.

Corporate Videos - Promotional short films for - Kiwi Dairy Giant, Interlock, Hannah's Shoes, and Dairy Board.

Television - Sound recording and mixing on a number of television programmes

Sound Recording - Trained as a Sound Recordist with the National Film Unit. Recent experience includes digital sound production for the Memory Line Series.

Production - Advancing to senior Sound Recordist and on to Sound Designer for Once were Warriors.

Digital Sound Processing - Producing sound for film and video on Mac with Pro-Tools sound design software.
